Merit System

Quick Merits are awarded by teachers via our electronic record keeping system, Millennium.  Merits can be awarded for:

·         Academic Achievement

·         Diligence and Commitment

·         Achievement in the Performing Arts

·         Achievement in Sport

·         Commitment to school values

Each time a Quick Merit is awarded to a student a congratulatory email will be automatically sent from Millennium to Parents/Carers acknowledging the student’s achievements.  Merits will accumulate and students will be rewarded accordingly.  The levels of the system are outlined below.

• 1 x Quick Merit - Email to Parents/Carers

• 10  x Quick Merits - BRONZE - Email to Parents

• 20 x Quick Merits - SILVER - Email to Parents

• 30 x Quick Merits - GOLD - Email to Parents - Reward Day Out (Jamberoo)

• 50 x Quick Merits - PLATINUM - Email to Parents - Certificate - Reward Day Out (Jamberoo) - $20 Voucher

Each Term in Week 3 and Week 7 data is collated from Millennium and hard copies of Platinum Certificates are printed and handed to students.The Quick Merit tally resets at the beginning of each school year and cuts off in mid-November each year to allow time to finalise preparations for the Jamberoo Rewards Day and Principal Luncheon.
