Year 10 WHSPA students were excited to be part of NSW Fire and Rescue’s road safety education program on Wednesday. NSW Firefighters delivered an innovative motor vehicle accident prevention program. The program involved a rescue extrication demonstration where Mr Burnett volunteered to be trapped in a car and be rescued out using exact tools that Fire Rescue use in the event of a road accident. Students also participated in a video case study with important discussions around risk reduction. Thanks to Wollongong Fire and Rescue for coming to our school and delivering such a fantastic program.
