2023 Music News

What a start to the year our WHSPA students are having. More wonderful news with ‘Overnight’ releasing their single last week. What an amazing achievement for some very hardworking humans. All five members of this band are past and / or present WHSPA students and are an example of the platform public education can provide to students wanting to pursue a career in the Arts.

OUT NOW! “All That I Like” is out now on all streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify! Make sure you add the song to your playlists now.

Nathan Davey in Year 12 has been selected to join the NSW Public School Symphony Orchestra.

The NSW Public schools symphony is an advanced ensemble. The ensemble is an avenue for talented and dedicated instrumentalists to represent their individual schools in a large instrumental ensemble setting. This is an outstanding achievement. Congratulations Nathan!

Piper Farrell, also in Year 12 has been successful in moving through to Phase 3 of the Talent Development Project (TDP). It is a program that selects and develops the state’s top vocalist's and is an outstanding achievement. Congratulations Piper!
